    Hello all!
My mum has been doing this for a few years now and uses her coins for my birthday as it is in January and for the sales...which means she can take advantage of them whilst having no other money free after Christmas.

I have decided to do this as OH and I have just got a mortgage and are moving into our new house in the next month or so and so need all the money we can save to help pay for it to be redecorated as it needs some TLC!

I have a designated pot and it has £4 in it already - not a bad start!!

Hi can I join in with this please? I have a few £2s but just waiting for OH to eat up his Haribo's from xmas so I can use the pot to put the coins in :D
Will probably keep saving them until the pot is full or until the end of 2011, which ever comes first, then put them into a savings account.
