I have found two £2 coins already. Into the pot they go......

Well since we are in 2011, yesterday we opened 2010's sealed tin. We had £262!!! :j

Have moved that £262 in to a new sealed pot and have added the £26 of £2 coins we have received since Christmas Day!

This year's pot is a terramundi pot so it won't be opened until it's full!

I can't believe how many £2 coins I have been getting recently..I think its MSE's last year savers putting them back in circulation because there are times I just don't see any for months on end and the last few days have been given 10 !!

Please may i join again. Did this last year and managed to save £310 :j:j.£300 bagged putting towards this years holiday (like round numbers !!! :rotfl:) ,other £10 to start me off with this years pot . many thanks .

I've had a £2 tin for a while which I TRY to use for "treats" I can't afford - last year I was trying to save up to have my front garden done (tiny bit of grass and would love to have it gravelled etc) but had to raid the tin too many times for it to accumulate to much.

Hoping you guys will keep me from spending it!

Balance is £0 as raided it over Christmas.

I'd like to join in too ! Ive already put my first £2 coin in a special tin ! Hope to collect as many as possible towards xmas 2011 or maybe a treat or two later on in the year depending how well i get on!

Someone bought me a lovely Terramundi Savings Pot for my Secret Santa at work and included my first £2 coin to save. Decided there and then this was my perfect opportunity to start saving any £2 coins I get.

Not had any since but I'll be on the lookout for them now!
