Hello All!
I'm looking for a double wardrobe and chest of drawers - but not flat pack!
I'm rubbish and i think it would send my beloved to his grave!
However, where can you find non flat packed items nowadays?!

As someone who is also in this situ...There are a number of websites out there which have really nice furniture...Just don't forget to read the delivery information like i did...resulting order of bedroom furniture was delivered by 1 man, and not placed in the room of my choice - despite being made of solid wood... make note of not to use them again0

nearly all companies deliver to the street door only. standard practice.
if you want a five star service then pay the price. go to john lewis etc...
ps
make sure your new double wardrobe can actually go up the stairs.Get some gorm.0 -
Try an auction house - you can get beautiful solid wood vintage / antique / old furniture for very little money, but as ormus said, make sure it'll go up the stairs!"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0

I got mine from Walmsley's. Not flat pack, delivered and put in rooms of choice, all packaging removed and taken away. The only thing we had to do was put the handles on, and an optional trim for the top of the wardrobes.

As well as up the stairs - remember you might have corners to turn at the top - going straight up isn't generally the problem, it's the driving a wardrobe around on the landing turning it into the right bedroom! (Speaking from bitter experience here since I've just spent the last 3 hours putting the furniture back in our bedroom after the carpet fitters had finished)Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
