hi there,

I love this site and i think all you lovely poeple do a great job!
Two years ago i was helped by this site (different thread obviously) to reclaim PPI succcesfully from Barclays. i had 5 cases and all of them i won. So here i am again for some help if that is ok.

Bankruptcy is an awful thing to go through as i unfortunately went through it myself. I was discharged last November. At the moment i am trying to open another bank account but was informed that it is going to be rather difficult.
I do not know what bank or building society to try,they are not very helpful, the banks i mean. I HAVE DONE NOTHING about my credit checks is that a problem? what is my next step?

Hi WELSA, It is woth doing a credit file clean up, some threads below to help too x

You'll need to get all three credit files, click on blue links below:-

Experian - Click here

Equifax - Click here

Callcredit - Click here


They are £2 each for paper copies. Some people have used the online one's and have said the information was very poor compared to the paper copies.

Hi Welsa, have you tried the Coop Cashminder account or Barclays Basic account? These are the only 2 really BR friendly accounts that are about.
