I've just checked my drill which also arrived today, and I've got two batteries. There was a rather ominous gap in the cardboard packaging at the top (where it looked like a battery should go), but both batteries where down the bottom.
 Maybe I just got lucky?0

I ordered this a while ago, and received yesterday exactly what was described and advertised - quite surprised tbh as it's certainly a bargain at that price.
It's true that the batteries are rather burried, but mine were both in the (sealed with zip ties as described) bag.
It's also worth noting that the drill pictured above (on sale in B&Q) comes with NiCad batteries, which are worth much less than the 2x LiIon that TH Hughes are kind enough to send.0

You can see in the "battery packaging" where the other should be and as been ripped out.

With the posts from other recent purchasers stating 2 batteries, I think your case is looking like one of your batteries has been removed between it being supplied to T J Hughes and being sent to you (or maybe removed BEFORE T J Hughes got it). Whatever the truth is, I think you have definite grounds for compensation.0

Agreed, the one at B&Q is nowhere near as good value as the T J Hughes one. One li-on battery is approx £50 to buy on its own!0

Also on my box the seal was broken and replaced with brown tape to re-seal it.MillicentBystander wrote: »With the posts from other recent purchasers stating 2 batteries, I think your case is looking like one of your batteries has been removed between it being supplied to T J Hughes and being sent to you (or maybe removed BEFORE T J Hughes got it). I'm guessing others had the genuine seal intact and had to really rip it to open it?0

Seal intact on mine - the box was actually a bit of a !!!!!! to get open. You've definitely been had, have they replied to your email? If not I'd consider ringing them, emails can easily be ignored.0

Just rang them, non to exchange and offered delivery charge back or total refund.
Going to see if any have been returned (lol) and then can swap it.0
