Hi,
If you get these texts, where are they from? Who is sending them? By what authority, and how did they get my number?
I get these texts regular, what can i do about them? I find them very annoying.
Thing is, i have texted stop before to these things and they keep on coming, i am on the verge of changing my sim card entirely to a new number, i shouldn't have to but thats spammers for you they don't care, i haven't had any accidents this is the sixth one this month.

I keep getting ones very helpfully telling me about a new government initiative to wipe out all my debts! Isn't that exciting :rotfl:
I have no idea how they got the number, as I never give it out. It's pretty irritating. Can't give the number at the moment as I've deleted them all, but it was a standard mobile phone number.0 -
I've had the ones regarding some accident that I was supposed to have had, must have been in my sleep 'cause I can't remember it.
. Just ignore.

I've just had a similar one; I get them all the time.
This one says I'm entitled up to £4,000 for my car accident...I've never had a car accident, I only started driving last month so I think i'd remember if I did!
...I hope its not a psychic solicitor who texted me!
the message was from +447848 372741 asking me to call 0800 41180210 -

Just had one of the 2nd ones this lunchtime. Ignore them, if you respond, they wil know your number is active and sell your details on to other companies...0 -
I had one the other day - same as that one about having an accident and being due for compensation. I just deleted it thought I'd better not even send stop coz then they would know they had a proper number. The number the text was sent from was +447552401839.0

Excellent advice, never ever respond to these messages. If they are a premium rate text then check them with the regulator phonepayplus.org.uk. Only then follow the instructions to text Stop.
If they are non-premium rate then DON'T reply, make a complaint with the Office of the Information Commissioner ico.gov.uk
I suspect the OP is continuing to get them because they replied, thus confirming their number.0 -
