Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone had tried one of these machines at all? They are called alpha-stim scs and are for stress, depression and anxiety relief. They are out of my price range at the moment, sadly, but I am desperate to try one to see if it could help me and wondered if anyone else had any experience of it?
Thank you xx

I've just found this thread and as we have just purchased the Alpha-stim after renting one, I thought I would tell you about our experience.
My teenage son has Asperger's syndrome and severe anxiety, he also has a great deal of sensory problems. From the first use it has made a significant difference to him, enabling him to go out to places we would normally avoid. He also feels so much more relaxed at home and is much less paranoid. If he does not use on a day, we can definatly see the difference.
I myself suffer from anxiety/mild panic attacks mainly caused by the stress of my caring role. Since using the Alpha-stim, I feel a lot lighter like I am starting to relax. My husband says he has seen a huge difference in me. We have only been using it for 4 weeks but I have not had a panic attack since although this may be because my stress has been reduced by my son feeling better.
My only regret is not getting one sooner. It is very expensive, but I feel very much worth the money for the benefit to our way of life.0 -
We got ours VAT free as my son has a recognised medical condition. I found the staff at themicrocurrent site really helpful and informative on this.0

I am sure that the above poster is trying to be helpful but I would not advocate buying an item from a complete stranger as although they may be genuine (and no offence intend here) but whose to say that they will not take your money and send you nothing. It has happened before - above posts re: offer of sales reported as it is against forum rules for the above mentioned reasons.0
