Can i return a phone to Tesco bought with "double up" vouchers?

morning guys...im having second thoughts about a mobile phone i got my OH from Tesco for Christmas...I used £20 worth of clubcard vouchers, and got £40 off the total..I paid the extra £29.99 cash..The picture of the phone on the box is realy quite different to how the phone looks in reality...this isnt my reason for return(I think the buttons will be too small for OH's big man hands to text etc)
I know Tesco are under no obligation to take the phone back, but in my experience they would normaly if bought by cash/debit card...but how would it work if the majority of it was paid for with Tesco vouchers?..."double value" ones at that?,thought id ask on here first before possibly embarrassing myself at Tesco..I posted on the shopping forum, but think my question may be more appropriate for here, thanks for any advice..
PS..The box has not been opened and the security seal is still in place.

Presumably your receipt states how much in vouchers, how much in cash? I would have thought they would give you the same back?0

Thankyou To be honest the receipt is very vague...it has the phone as £79.99(original price),but i got it for £69.99 cos i spent over £20 in store...receipt just shows this £10 off as an "additional saving"...payment wise it shows up as:Mark_Hewitt wrote: »Presumably your receipt states how much in vouchers, how much in cash? cash £55.41(I bought other items too),then, coupon £20- + coupon-.£20..additional saving £10.01.its all very vague.
, Thing is,altho i used £20 worth of tesco vouchers(coupons),these were doubled up to £40 (hence coupon £20 x 2)...but this double up promotion was for a limited period only,so basicaly should i just expect my original £20 voucher back,..or will they return £40 in vouchers, cos thats what they were worth at the time??
I dont mind either way,as long as they will accept the return at the £69.99 I paid for it so i can buy him something else.
PS/I was worried that mobile phones may be exempt from return, but theres nothing on my receipt to this effect..it simply states "products over 28days old should not be returned to store, please call the mobile phone helpline"(i bought his 14days ago)Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.

I think you're going to have to just ask them, cooking-mama. We can but speculate."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Thats what i get for impulse buying...typical Virgo cant resist a "bargain"..I was just too keen to try and get my double vouchers before the deal expired:o
Also bought a Kenwood toaster reduced from £60 to £30.(also just so i could use my double vouchers, got it for £15 vouchers turned into £30).turns out its rubbish..no wonder it was 1/2 price...But I wont even try to return that i'l live and learn eh.;)Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.
