Well considering I have a blooming Paypal account it's very annoying! I have emailed. Unlikely to get anything back though. Pfft. Sorry you didn't get your order, I hope your Christmas wasn't relying on it. I'm upset at the injustice but happy for those that beat their system. I prefer Boots anyway! Superdrug have always been my least favourite so I guess it's only fair they cancel my orders! :rotfl:

Yea I have one to :rotfl: arghhh. I always pay by card, except for ebay, which I obviously use Paypal for.

Was just a few little stocking fillers I bought, but still would have been nice to have those for a very low price. Bloody Superdrug. Yes, Boots are better anyway :rotfl:

Don't know but I have a pending transaction on my account that equals the value of my order which was cancelled. I won't know if they have taken the money until it comes through on to the account or the pending transaction drops off. I did email them yesterday and said you have cancelled the order if you have taken payment I want the refund to be actioned but guess what no reply from them.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • Dear Customer,

    Thank you for your response.

I apologise again for the error that has occurred and any inconvenience caused by this cancellation.

I can confirm that no money will have been taken by Superdrug for this order as all payments are taken once your order has been despatched. Unfortunately your order did not reach this stage.

The bank will put these funds into a holding account and they are therefore able to transfer these directly back into your account now your order has been cancelled.

I apologise again for the inconvenience.

    Thank you for contacting Superdrug.

    Kind Regards

    Miss S Berry

    Dear Katy,
    Thank you for your e-mail.

I can confirm that some customer orders were despatched.
As Paypal is instant payment, many of these orders had already gone through to the packing stage before this error was passed through to us.

Unfortunately this is the reason many of the Paypal orders were despatched.

I apologise sincerely again for the error that has occurred and for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation.

    Thank you for contacting Superdrug.

    Kind Regards
    Miss S Berry

    pffft. Poor excuse.

I just got my despatch confirmations having paid by Paypal. I feel a bit uneasy really, knowing that several of you had orders cancelled instead.
I'm not convinced of their explaination that items were already at the packing stage, I think that it was too much trouble for them to refund through Paypal. I'd have used my card if it'd been within reach, but as it was I had a poorly baby asleep on me at the time so couldn't get to it. I'll definately consider using paypal for future glitches though....
