MealPlans WB 20th December 2010 - Christmas Week!

OK, here goes. I'm recovering from flu and only just starting to eat again. OH has been doing most of the cooking and so we've more in the freezer than I expected.

Sat: meatballs & spaghetti
Sun (DD's birthday): smoked salmon starter, pasta with tomato sauce and parmesan, trifle
Mon: pan-fried seabass with crushed new potatoes, roast tomatoes & salad
Tues: burgers (not home made but in freezer already), chips & coleslaw
Wed (OH's birthday): salmon sashimi, miso-marinated scallops with sticky rice & stir-fried green veg, lemon sorbet
Thurs: chinese-style pork ribs, prawn fried rice, steamed greens
Friday: (bought) chicken pie with chips & peas
Saturday (the big day ...):

breakfast: hm blueberry pancakes with bacon and maple syrup
the big meal: roast chicken with a stuffing made with cornbread, prawns, peppers and cajun spices, pigs in blankets, various veges, gravy, followed by (bought) christmas pudding with flavoured cream
later: amaretti and dessert wine
