Problems with Verified Visa?

Hi I'm having trouble ordering my shopping from Tesco on-line? It goes all the way through to the verification by Visa page and then it stops and says the bank is refusing it? But I'v checked with the bank and the visa verified people haven't even asked to authorise it. And I have more than enough cash in my account anyway!

Anyone else having problems?

MM

This happened to my dad yesterday when he was doing the lottery. He rang the bank (co-op) and they said their system had changed and it would be working again after 2 hours.

I had this problem with Barclays recently when being asked to register for verified by visa. It eventually turned out there was a mistake on their records. somehow my date of birth was incorrect on their records.

Followers of the Asange person have been attacking Visa/Mastercard verification pages with DOS attacks after these two companies stopped accepting payments for him.

    .

I think that should be Wikileaks? :)

But you're right ....... I had multiple problems several nights ago with getting my Christmas shopping done from my desk! All the verifications were failing initially ..... and it surprised me that multiple 'refreshes' eventually got them through.

I'm surprised your bank didn't inform you there was a problem with it.

I was trying to sort out a blocked transaction today and the woman on the other end started to go in on about verified by visa.

I had to point out my transaction had absolutely nothing to with it.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
