My friend just bought hte leather uggs and says they are fantastic so maybe worth saving. I was tempted by the ugg wellies but M&M only had them in yellow!

  • I just bought some Snowjoggers last week - quilted black patent finish so I think they will be better regarding 'white rings' than some of the other finishes and more waterproof. Not had any snow as of yet (here's hoping!) but have worn them loads and they are very warm in the sub zero temperatures. Last year I wore wellies and my feet were FREEZING (numb!) plus my socks always seem to fall down under my foot in these.

My neoprene muddies wellies are brill, waterproof, grippy and warm...ohh and boingy sole, my hunters not a patch on these..shame about the price  but i did get them heavily discounted at £12.50 at boogaloo.com, sold out now though not sure i'd pay the full price.

Just got some sketchers grand jams for £34.99 delivered, my christmas indulgence and only pressie, see my grabbit post, very stylish but winter repellant :T Not sure about snow repellant...but saying that we have not seen any yet...watch this i'll wake up tommorrow and be snowed in :D

Hi dont know your size but there are some Mukluks on ebay ...

Thanks- I have these and are getting destroyed at the moment by the snow! (Hence the wellies or snowjoggers, boots which are designed for the snow!) Having said that I haven't yet had soaked wet feet, but then I have learned to walk in the middle of the road (they aren't gritting the streets where I live- long story involving budget cuts and OD-ing on last years grit but its too icy to walk on!)

I am not going to be getting the Lacoste style snowjoggers, refunded from ASOS already for delivery reasons. I then tried on a pair in a store and they were way too tight! Lucky I didn't wait for ASOS to deliver them!

I did try on a pair of Hunter Wellies and they seem to come up big so will just get a few of the furry socks from Sports Direct (£1.99-£4.99 a pair) and wear these, can't see any other way around the cold feet thing. Do still want a pair of the £90 snowjoggers though...! Wish wish wish...they are £85 on ebay, still way above anything I could afford.

Thanks for the tips everyone and hope you all manage to get your feet sorted too! Hopefully my question has been of some use to others out there and not just me!

    what about the croc wellies?
  • I had a pair of snowjoggers last year from MANDM Sports. They are excellent in the snow with no white rings.

Thanks! Thats exactly what I wanted to hear! Should be getting my wellies in 2-4 days owing to adverse weather...etc etc. Got them for £55 and they are £110 in the shops, have a padded leg and come up big so will be wearing furry socks with them.
  • I wore my snowjoggers in the snow all day today and my feet were cosy and dry. They are the brown suedey ones. I got them from M&M direct for about £30 earlier this year but hadn't had any snow since so it was great to try them out. Oh and no white rings!
2012 is going to be my year - bring it on!:j

  • I've just ordered some Snowjoggers from Amazon - £42. Seemed like a good price?
My toes are freezing, hope these live up to their recomendations!!
