Hunter/Wellies Vs. Snow Joggers

I am weighing up weather or not to get snowjoggers or Hunter wellies -or any other sort of wellies, it just seems I am able to get Hunter wellies easier then other brands (I don't trust the quality of own-brand wellies after seeing them instore!)
At the moment I am wearing and ruining my fitflop mukluk boots which has made me sad as I saved for ages for them! (Like all year) and ideally I'd like something to replace them which is suitable for the snow but will also keep my feet warm. I have a limited budget or I'd just buy a new pair of Mukluks and resign my current pair to the snow!
I am worried about two things:
1. Warmth
2. Slipping in the snow.
Does anyone own either Hunter wellies or Rubber Duck Snowjoggers? how are they in terms of warmth and slipping on ice?
Many thanks for any replies

I've got the Snowjoggers and I find them really good in the snow. They are really easy to walk in and have a bit of fur inside so keep your feet nice and warm. They do get a ring of salt on them but you can scrub them down no problem.0

Hunter wellies are good for grip and keeping your feet and legs dry in snow. However, whilst they are warmer than some wellies, they're definately not the warmest things in the world! If you decide to go for wellies get them half a size bigger (I think hunter do half sizes) so you can wear a couple of pairs of socks.0

wellie warmers are really good i find, in theory just an inside-out furry sock, so probably easy to make as well..
i've foudn that and a pair of socks have kept my feet pretty toasty in a pair of wellies for camping etc

If you go for wellies def get well socks/liners - hunters are slightly warmer than other brands but I've been wearing my snow boots for warmth and only my hunters once it went slushy (with thermal socks)People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I have the ugg wellies. Bought them last year and they are great. Not cheap but I get really cold feet so worth it. If you are up to a size 5 then John Lewis do hunter wellies for £23.0 -
Thanks everyone!
I have my dad offering me a pair as an early Xmas gift- very lucky! They do have to be black or darkly coloured though being that I normally wear head to toe black and more then looking streamlined, I like wearing head to toe black!
Couldn't budget for snowjoggers (I wanted the tall type which are £85-£90 depending on where you shop and my budget is £50.) but did order a pair of Lacoste snow boots for £50 and a pair of M&M navy wellies. Both are in my exact size though so have a feeling its the wellies which will go back! (Can only keep one pair). Am a size UK6 so cannot do child sizes. What I really really want is a pair of Ugg boots which are waterproof (but not keen on the tall wellies) never ever going to be able to afford them though so out of the question!
Will feed back on how I go, ASOS arriving tomorrow, M&Ms arriving by Wednesday. Thanks for your help!0 -

For that price it's only up to size 3
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
