Hi,
I've done a Google search but keep getting news articles. I can't find the answer on this site either. I realise off peak times are different with different landlines, but what are off peak times generally for calls in the UK?
Thanks.

For calls charged by BT, 'evening' call rates apply between 7pm and 7am, Monday to Friday.
Other providers, for example Primus, may have a different time band for off-peak rates.

ISTR that Talk Talk and Sky followed BT fairly quickly. Others probably did too.

My Primus (CPS) times are still 6pm to 8am though.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I wondered why I was being charged for calls AFTER 6pm and called to complain - only to be told that the off peak times had changed to7am-7pm back in October.Beware of AOL.0
