Free BBS boards

Hi.
Just a quick enquiry... Can any of you net boffs recomend any good FREE BBS boards..

    Do you mean software? If so try PhPBB. You will need someone to host it for you tho. A lot of hosting companies will do it for you. Some even include it as a standard feature. PhPBB is probably the most popular free BBS out there and there are literally thousands of mod's. You do need to be a little techie tho to be able to get the best out of it.

    If you just want a free BBS on the web and don't want to bother with hosting or any technical stuff then I know a few sites which use proboards (https://www.proboards.com). No idea what they are like or if there are any strings etc.
