I have just tried to system restore, to undo a windows update. I have had a grey screen for about 45 mins now - is this normal?
If something has gone wrong, how do I get out of it?
TIA

If the PC is off, press the power on button then start tapping the F8 key until it gives you the option to select safe mode.
If the F8 key does nothing, try tapping the F5 key
If the PC is already on, select restart then start tapping the F8 key as soon as you get the first screen0
