bubblewrap - cheap and quick?!

I asked on Freecycle, and someone emailed me to say she gets hers free from Morrisons (they get their bananas wrapped in it).0

thank you all - I do need quite a bit so will probably buy on this occassion. Whilst it has been good to have the money from ebay for these items, they are a dreadful faff (for want of a better word!) to pack up and ship out. I certainly won't be looking at doing it as a second income, that's for sure! On the plus side, I have so far, as a complete novice, sent out 18 very breakable parcels, all of which have arrived in one piece. So very proud of myself for that!0

On ebay some sellers post same day and you get it very quickly.
These do:

Not sure about quality though, some packaging stuff on ebay can be very low quality (you get what you pay for)
PS still cheaper than most places, so I buy on ebay, but don't choose the cheapest0 -
Rymans have it on buy 2 get 1 free at the moment. Works out at £2 per roll.0

Yes, I get a couple of sheets every time I'm in Tesco - it's free, can't get more MSE than that. If you need a lot though (which it sounds like you do) you may be better getting a roll, as you're reliant on salvaging out of fruit boxes etc. in Tesco.
Me too! I haven't bought bubble wrap in about 3 years! Even got my DD trained on the supermarket bubble hunt. Last time I was in Mr T's there was one of those metal cages FULL of the stuff. I asked if I could have it and the chap said take it all! Wrapped all my Xmas stuff and still have some left.0 -
In my town there's an office supplies shop which sells various packaging materials including big rolls of bubble wrap. If you need lots, buy one of the great big rolls: the small packs from post offices or even Poundland work out much more expensive. For smallish quantities, I get mine free from shops, e.g. supermarkets' fruit departments.0
