I've just had notification from TalkTalk (i was originally with OneTel) telling me that my calling card service will cease to operate from end of November. This was a nice little package which meant you could just have the cost of calls made from the card added to your home bill.
Anybody know if there are any companies with a similar service ?

Hi
If you mean pre paid cards then some appear on google. Or try 1st-phonecards.co.uk .
Some are scams ( I dont know about 1st-phonecards ) where they charge you sneaky fees, eg connection charges, maintenance charges, daily charges, and others to increase price.
Therefore longer calls are better.
Local retailers often sell say a £5 card for about £3 though.

Hi
3 years back I used Eurocity. If from a home phone it costs about 1.5/2p a min (via 0800 number)to phone a landline in Spain and UK (prob same price to W Europe), inc all extra charges, less if longer calls.(if I remember correctly this is the net price taking into account a £5 card costing £3)
Most of these cards have a extra charge from a BT pay phone.
