Maybe they have a cut-off point for next day. I ordered yesterday at about 5.50pm and can collect today from 2pm.

  • I just called John Lewis Oxford Street. They have 48 of the lego winter toy workshop in stock, for £19.95. They have been told not to reserve toys.

You can check your local store stock, the item number 78640401.

If it's anything like the AT-TE which we got last year reduced from £100 to £50, it's a pile of rubbish and definitely not worth it. The legs fall off several times a day and it's really wobbly and unstable. The AT-AT I reckon could be worse still, as it has longer / taller legs!

My son has this standing on his bedroom window sill and has had no problem with the legs when i clean it unlike the giant Death Star That we had to super-glue together which fell apart when ever you looked at it.

Top marks to John Lewis customer service. I didn't realise I had entered my card expiry date in wrong, and they just phoned to let me know and check the number so they could despatch it to me. They did e-mail first, and I was about to call, but they saved me having to find the number, select all the options and queue to get through. Thanks JL :)

Yip I'd agree, comparing it to just a moxie doll of same price, you get alot for your money!

Oh, just remembered, Tesco extra have one of the Moxie girls dolls packs (its Avery or Lexa, one doll, 2 outfits and 2 lots of accessories) half price for £9.97 - again, very good value IMO.
  • Thanks again, OP, just had the goodies delivered, under the jealous gaze of my neighbour who is desperate for the Lego toyshop. It's mine, all mine! :D.
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
