I want to start using that cheap 18866 service, but before i do, i want a phone or machine that will dial the prefix automatically, so i just have to dail the number i want without always dialing the prefix too.
Sorry if this is a n00b question, but any info will help.
Thnx in advance,
maneesh

My phone will dial a prefix of up to 3 digits but that is not enough for the 18866 service. You could try the orchid dialler (described elsewhere by Martin) and you can program it with different prefixes depending on the time of day and the number you call.0

Couldn't you just enter it as memory key 1.
Then press memory 1 before dialling the number you want?0 -
my phone does dial prefix, and that memory thing isn't on my phone, unless you mean speed dialing.
whats and orchid dialler, sounds interesting, do these type of dialler have a certain type of name?0 -

Speed dialing would do the same - put 18866 in one of your speed dial buttons.
Press it before entering the number you want to ring should do the trick.0
