Over the last few months I have had a few probs with my system, mainly viruses Etc. Done quite a lot of reparatory work on my system and got it limping along fairly satisfactorily. I have an IDE/USB connector and I have tried that also.

I think short of swapping the mechanics from a working deskstar, I fear that there is nothing that I will be able to do with it and i don't know if I fancy that task.
