Repaying debt on Gas meter, and cold weather!
Options
Righto, I realise this is a bit of a long shot, but was wondering if anyone could help?
Im currently repaying a debt, which has been added to my gas meter. BUT, ever since the weather has become really cold, they've stopped recovering the monies owed. Ive looked through the meter, and can see that theres still a bit of money owing on it (not much at all) and that its still set to 'recover' at £10 a week, but it doesnt seem to be taking it?
Is this 'normal' or should I ring them to inform?
(Im with Atlantic btw...)
many thanks

its not normal so give your supplier a call as everytime you put your gas card into the meter, your meter read and debt figure is loaded onto the card and is then sent to your supplier when you top up. your supplier should have a record of how much your debt was each time you top up so will be able to see if its reducing.0
