That is so sad. My thoughts are with you, your friend and the family involved.
It took the death of a close friend of mine for me to rethink my life and things that were stressing me out at the time. I was (and still am) determined to clear my debts but I am not going to give myself a hard time if I do meet that friend for a drink in a coffee shop or I buy something that I want and not necessarily need.

This is exactly how I feel. Yes my debts are a pain and I'd love them to be gone, but there is more to life than scrimping every last penny to pay them off. As long as the debts are reducing and not increasing then i'm happy.0

LA I'm sending my sympathies- what a horrible, tragic accident. You're right- life is so short and we should all be as happy as we can be while dealing with our debt sensibly and responsibly.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
