N Power Refund

I have heard that if you were a customer with Npower during 2007 you may be due a refund.
anyone else got nat info on this as it seems to be too good to be true.:j

    OP - were you overcharged? Were you put on a tariff more expensive than the one you agreed to? Was your meter broken / uncalibrated?

    If not, then no. You're not entitled to a refund. Doesn't matter what the utility provider is or what year you were with them, if you weren't overcharged or put on the wrong tariff, and you didn't have a faulty meter, then no, no entitlement to refund.

  • its nothing to do with broken meters or being put on the wrong tarriffs,but how they calculated the 2 bands of charging on your bill,we got a £37 refund from them in november and we`d just changed from n power to scottish power,the over charging goes back to 2007,so if you weren`t an n power customer then no refund

    snooper we got a £67 refund but they informed us about 2 months ago now. They will write to you if you are due, if you cannot wait so long, ring them up.

    Got 32 quid off of them, has to be cashed at a post office within six months (from Dec last year)
