I am not good at analysing SOA's, but there are plenty here who are good, and will help. I can, however, see your problem, with the loan and CCs. My own reccomendation would be to talk to CCCS or PAYPLAN, with a view to going on a Debt Management Plan (DMP) with them. I would strongly advise against taking on further debt by consolodating.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Nothing really to add except I am amazed how quickly you are taking this on board and getting things done. Give yourself a pat on the back because with each tiny step you are taking your life will become easier and more manageable and you will be proud of yourself for it. Well done for taking responsibilty and getting on with what has to be done. Good for you. Its like climbing a mountain its bloody hard work but the benefits will be amazing when you get to were you want to be.0

Hi, Fleurd! I work as Money advier for CAB. If your OH doesn't want to be involved (which is how many of my clients arrange their affairs) I'd advise you set up your SOA just based on your salary, and your share of the bills. I expect that the household bills will just be halved, but what about car and phone, etc?
Then you will be able to see how much of your income is left after essential expenditure.
At CAB we write to creditors and ask them to freeze interest and charges, while we set up a SOA. We then make offers to creditors, based on what you can afford.
There may be other possibilities, too.
Best wishes, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
