re-fit carpet after laying cables

Hey all,

I have lifted part of my carpet to run some wires underneath it (for speakers).

However, any tips on how to get the carpet back tight (no knee kicker)

Ta!

You can't without one - hire one for a day - about £10.

  • Just stand about 4 feet from the direction you want the carpet tight, then walk in the direction you want the carpet to go by shuffling your feet and pushing down hard at the same time so as to stretch the carpet. It does work just not as easy as a knee kicker. Obviousley make sure there is nothing sitting on the carpert area you want to stretch as it prop want move.
