money shows but is not available?

I paid a £400 cheque onto my debit card yesterday in the bank and today when i checked online (lloyds tsb) it says it has bein added to my bank account on the statement underneath, but when i look at my avalable balance it is showing 8,700 when it should be 9,100 with the £400 cheque included. should i be worried?

ok, thanks. how come it shows on my statement though? before when ive added cheques in they only show on my online statement once theyve cleared
