Must be posh ones, My old company had vehicles upto 2001 reg, Non of them had ABS, One had diff locks.
But they were silly when buying vehicles, Skimping on things like mirrors doesnt add up. One 7.5t lorry arrived
with mirrors that could barely see past the box behind.
You should have seen the accident folder for that vehicle. I took it for a service and told them to fit new mirrors.
Oh dear the boss didnt like that when he got the bill for over £400, oops.
Had to have a meeting with the boss, Told them if the accidents dont decrease i will pay the bill. The vehicle is
a danger, It has way too many blind spots. Read the accident reports.
They never did ask for any money. Only accident i remember it having was a new driver trying to rip the roof
off a garage forecourt.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
ABS...wonderful thing which stops the wheels from locking up. Fitted mandatorily to PCV and HGV (both unit and trailer) for quite some years now. I've not driven a lorry without ABS since 1995.
Not entirely correct
we have some Alexander tridents in my depot on a 01 plate. (cummins lump)
They don't have ABS at all.
All of our fleet above 54 reg has it though. (Volvo lumps)
I think it's specific to each vehicle manufacturer. If Adam and Eve were created first

How can they guarantee that?
Keep putting you in for a test at no extra cost til you die or pass.
Some people aren't cut out to drive a car yet alone anything bigger.
I meant guaranteed in the sense that they of course load the price of the course to factor in the potential costs of extra tests/practice/tuition. Its common enough in the field of standard car instruction.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
