Flying to Canaries the day after a Eurostar journey - risk?

Hi
I really want to go on holiday before July next year, but due to friends' hen weekends and weddings coupled with school holiday limitations, I am restricted to one possible full week when I could go - from Monday 18th April, arriving back on Easter Monday.
I have found a holiday in Gran Canaria, but will be returning from Paris the day before (Sunday 17th) on the Eurostar to Bristol (hoping to get back by 5pm/6pm), following my friend's hen weekend. The flight to Gran Canaria is at 10.30am on Monday 18th from Bristol airport.
Do you think there is a risk in booking the holiday, given that I can't get the Eurostar before lunchtime the day before?
I realise I wouldn't be able to get insurance for my holiday that would cover any delays because of the Eurostar. I've never travelled on Eurostar before so don't know how reliable they are and what would happen if a train was cancelled or delayed - would I be able to get on another train in the next few hours? I don't care as long as I can get back to Bristol by early Monday morning!
Please can you help me assess the risk?
Thanks in advance...

Hi
I do not think you would have any problem with the information you have given, Eurostar do offer a very good service and there are overall very few delays or problems with them. If I was in your situation I would go ahead and book and enjoy a great week in the sun {just remember do not overdo it on the hen weekend and I am sure all will be fine:0)}0 -
It's not the Eurostar I would worry about, its the wretched Great Western train back from Paddington that is more likely to be affected by engineering works on a Sunday. Even so, providing you are back in London mid to late afternoon, I think even GW should be able to get you back to Bristol before midnight!0
