Any egg money alternatives?

Hi there, I need a card to get money to my current account and put the debt onto my M&S 3.9% for BT credit card. I applied for the egg money card but for some unknown reason i was rejected.

They told me to write them a letter, but that would be a struggle for me

Are there any other cards which have the same features as the egg money card ?

For 1% 'handling charge' M&S will give you travelllers' cheques in sterling which they treat as 'purchases' and thus are charged at 0% for 12 months. You can then pay these into your bank. There is a thread here somewhere but I couldn't find it again. This requires no other credit card but you then have the debt to shift at a later stage (not up for that?)
