npower 2 gas account numbers

hi does anyone no why i have 2 account numbers for my gas,they are totally different.

Hi lisaluke - Your post is a bit short on detail, but are you saying you have one meter but get 2 bills, each of which shows the same Meter No. but has a different Account No.?

If this is the case then get onto n'power FAST and do it in writing - The danger is that it's all controlled by the great god computer, which will either take two Direct Debits a month for the same amount, or see that one of these accounts isn't getting paid and default to wolverine collection mode to collect the phantom debt via Debt Collectors

If you have duel fuel with nPower they have a weird way of doing it.

Initially they set up 2 accounts, 1 for electric and 1 for gas.
They then "combine" the two of them into one account.
In my case, my duel-fuel account number is the same as my electric, but it could be the same as the gas in your case.

If you don't have duel-fuel, get onto them ASAP and if it's been a while you could have a nice cash surprise if you've been overpaying them.
