£4.47 on the Daily Mail, cheese, four scotch eggs and 12 reduced Warburtons sandwich rolls. Plus £10 renewing my lottery numbers for five weeks (one line Sat & Weds).

Just to let you know as I mentioned it last week, my dad passed away this morning. It was totally expected and he didn't suffer. He wanted to go, that was obvious when we last visited. The family are all calm about it. I know there will be lots to sort out but can't really start at the weekend as offices aren't open.

So what better place than MSE to take one's mind off things? :)
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

    Erm ...

Boots - £15 (from £25), need boots at some point soon and never see them at this price
Birthday vouchers for friend - £15, needed
Trousers - £12 (from £20), needed for my birthday night
Cable for TV - £7.99, needed so I could watch the XFactor!
NW Mag - £2.80, so I could get £16.50 make up free but they wouldn't unless I got a makeover
    Lunch - £3 or so

Wow, that's nearly £60, Can't see how I could've cut it down anymore though. Tomorrow will be a no spend day unless I venture out for the Sunday papers!

I spent 19 pounds in Poundland. I did get things like Xmas wrapping paper, tags, cellotape, colouring books for the kids etc and it's coming out of my weekly budget that I'm allowing myself at the mo. - so although I do feel guilty coz it was 19 pounds I don't feel tooooooooo bad.

Time for me to update my spending :) Hair cut with tip was £33 and I am very happy with it :D

OH treated me to lunch and after a few glasses of wine, I didn't actually need anything from the Body Shop or Wilkos as originally planned :p

  • I'm really sorry to hear your news bogof_babe, make sure you do take time for yourself, and visiting MSE is a great place to spend it.

I spent just £1 today. I bought some foundation worth £13, but had £12 worth of vouchers to use.
