58p in Woolworths on 2 x tubes of fake blood (was cheaper than red food dye and making my own! absolute bargain).
£9.00 in Sainsburys on lunch, half price king prawns for tomorrow and breakfast things for people kipping at ours tonight.
Now i'm off to make myself look Zombielike xx0 -
Posted this on the "What is every one doing this weekend" thread earlier:
I had set myself a little challenge yesterday to take only £100 cash when I went Christmas shopping today with my mum and this is how I got on:-
I spent a grand total of £43.47 IN CASH on the remaining Christmas presents I needed to buy for people I also spent a further £32.98 on bits and pieces I really do need and still managed to pay cash for them too. So in total I have spent £76.45 in cash
I also spent £49.99 on a pair of boots with my Solo card BUT they are needed and I had budgeted for them, I just didn't expect to get them today.
Total spent today £126.44 AND I still have £23.55 in cash left :T

£1.85 on crisps and local papers. Going out tonight so am treating myself to something new (nothing flashy, just a top from Tesco) and some spending money. Plan to take this out of my £72.25 remaining lottery winnings from last week.

Afternoon everyone

I've spent nothing at all today so far. Even better than that though, I have an agency night shift tonight which will be a good earner and also means that I won't be going out and spending anything. (Plus, extra hour's work because the clocks change. Won't be easy, but so worth it).
Yippee!!

We have this argument every year at home - My wife is a nurse and always seems to be landed with a Night shift when the clocks go back, yet she never gets paid the extra hour:mad:
Not surprisingly she rarely gets asked to work a night shift when the clocks go forward:rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Well, I caved and bought that coat because three times this week I've had to get dressed at least three times because I was lacking a black coat. But it was £30 instead of £50 because of discount and £10 in Capital Bonds - plus was the only one left in my size.
Nothing else
And phone is cancelled as of 30 days time, saving me £5 a money No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
