Digital media on eBay and a reliable courier.

I hope someone can help me out with a couple of questions that I have.

I'm thinking of setting up a small business selling a particular phone brand unlocking codes, however it will mean sending out digital media on eBay. I've seen other people send out media via email and then said will send the details by post. I've read their rules and as I now understand you have to follow up by a paper copy? Am I correct in this assumption?

And the second is, which courier would you recommend to send a laptop tracked and insured?

You need to be very careful of the ebay policy on digital media:

A digital item is a computer file or special information that you can access online or have delivered electronically. Digitally delivered goods and items which are transferred electronically are not permitted on eBay.

The reason why people send a hard copy is the following exclusion:

You can only list a digitally delivered goods on eBay as long as you follow these guidelines:

• The item provided to the buyer is supplied on a physical format for instance a CD or hardcopy. The option of delivering the item by email or digitally must never be included.
