Savings Accounts

Im trying to find a good savings account for the OH as currently he has all his money sitting in his current account which is with HSBC.
Best I seem to have found so far (with HSBC at least) is a fixed rate saver and for a 3 month term 1.04% or 6 months at 1.44% net. The Cash e-ISA seems to provide 1.74% tax free but Ive no idea if this is withdrawable during the period?

Any help appreciated :)

If he wants instant access, the Halifax ISA Direct Reward, at 2.8% (or 3% if he has/opens a Halifax current account), is an excellent starting point for savings.

Have a look at Lloyds Vantage account although it is basically a current account it can be used as a savings account and has various rates depending on balance.
Need to have £1000 Paid in each month but can be withdrawn next day.
Check it out I hope it is of help to you.:)
