VPN and BT Home Hub problems

192.168.1.0 and similar are very common network address ranges, pretty much every domestic router is going come configured to use that range. It's not a BT issue, it's probably a lazy network admin that set up your corporate network with that range in the first place. The proper fix would be to change your corporate network addressing to something less common if you want to support VPN.
As mentioned earlier, you should just need to change the network address of the router and the DHCP scope to a new network range. If your PC is using a DHCP assigned address, it will still be using the old network address, so disable/enable the interface after changing the router.
I use VPN to my work systems through a home hub and also VPN in to a VPN server I have at home and it all works fine.0 -
my internet wouldn't work afterwards
I couldn't even get onto the home hub user interface - I had to restore the factory settings to undo it. Does anyone have any ideas why that might be?
