xbox360 Kinect Bundles

Hi im looking for a last minute present for my Mrs and daughter (7 years old)and they have been going on about how they would love a XBOX 360 and the new Kinect
Im just wondering if there was a cheaper place than the high street to buy from?
And what games should i get looking for 2 for now mainly for my daughter.
Im guessing the 4gb will do me as we dont have much music songs to store,
Thanks for your help

Thanks will do any advice on cheapest place to buy etc?
  • I would do a search on google shopping to get the best price. In terms of games the dance one is meant to be really good, the animal one may appeal to your daughter as well.

It also helps if you have a large living room as this affects how well the kinect performs.
There's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

thanks for that,Tesco looks good at the mo with 2 games with the bundle and shouldnt be a problem in terms of room size.
Another thing im sure my brother has an older Xbox 360
will the kinect sensor work with this?or do i need the console as well?

The Kinect will work with any XBOX 360, either the old versions or the facelifted ones.

Yes, the Kinect works with older Xbox's no problem. The only slight issue is that it requires it's own plug socket to power it.
The new Slim models have a special connection to power the Kinect direct.
