play.com charged double but say they didnt

a few weeks ago i placed an order for a figure @ play.com.
It was really cheap only £1.25 so i ordered 2 .
I was immediently charged double even though only one had been despatched.
the second figure was cancelled.
I asked play.com to be refunded for the figure which was cancelled but was met with a response saying that they only charge once the items have been despatched so its impossible i was overcharged.
I have my bank statement confirming the overcharge but not sure wheter or not i should pursue it for a measly £1.25.
what should i do next?
email my statement ?

if it shows on your statement then yes email it over to them.. £1.25 is £1.25.
