It's great reading though how well everyone is doing! It tickles me to see the little confessions about spending on credit cards and about how much we must have all changed our habits... at one time or other I'm sure none of us would have batted an eyelid at spending £4 on a credit card or buying 3 pairs of shoes... but look at us now! I actually get excited if I find 50p in the sofa! :rotfl:

Good luck to everyone whose ebaying at the moment.

Payday for me on Thursday and OH sometime in the next 3 days so will update then.

    Morning all

Well I lodged my 2 pound coins into my ISA savings yesterday (30.00). I normally wait till I get more but was so impatient to boost my Jan total:D That will be it now until Friday as DH gets paid then.

    Running total 839.70/10,000
    Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j
  • Payment to credit card has been cleared, I ended up not doing the minimum payment as DH had spent more on the card than I thought; hey ho never mind. Payment this month was £446.00 this included CB money. Balance now stands at £3143.40, it would have been under the £3k mark but can’t be helped; I’m not going to whinge about it.

Well done Purpletea, is your DH on board with the whole reducing debts thing? It can be really hard to do if your other half has not had their lightbulb moment.

This is the first "paying off" post I've been able to make - my French mortgage had its monthly payment made on it today, so converting to sterling at today's rate gives me a debt repayment of £456 :j

I'm off! I can update my sig finally!

Congratulations to all those who've started already.
