    Hi Everyone

Remaining amount on one of the credit cards (£70.94) paid. This is money from my Christmas bonus. Hopefully I can use the rest of my bonus for paying off the card, just need to wait till payday in case money is docked from 2 days sick-hopefully there won't be interest charge left to pay next month fom this month when the bill comes through.
Also paid £4.91 on remaining CC from cashback received. :j

    Balance now £325.87/£5711.76

Keep up the good work everyone :T

Well done everyone! We seem to be paying off hundreds of pounds a day together :T

Worked out that after the last of the direct debits come out of our joint account next week we'll have £45.51 remaining in the over draft so I'm adding that to my total :)

Also compared my car insurance today and switched to LV which means my monthlies for that have gone from £44  to £27.77 :rotfl:

Still, I feel things are going a bit slow since I need to be aiming for £1000 a month. Roll on payday!

Hi everyone, I haven't read all the posts yet since my last post, so i'm sorry if this has been brought up before.

How are people declaring how much they paid...Are you counting all your normal minimum payments on cards or just counting any extra overpayments made?

I've declared a £8000 target and got my number (Thank you:) ) but that is the target of overpayments I want to make in the year (if i can manage it) so doesn't take into account all my monthly min payments that go out... just interested what others are doing and how! It's a high figure but it ouldn't be a challenge otherwise right? ;)

    Thanks! :)

Yeah, I'm counting all payments made towards debt except mortgage payments. I'm the same as you though for setting a high target, I think it motivates me to work harder because unless I'm really proactive every month I wont manage it. :)

Me too counting all my payments made to my cc overpayments or minimum as this all goes towards reducing my overall cc debt.
