Hi KLee, welcome back! Hope you had a good time away.

Is that £500 off your total so far I should add? Let me know if it is wrong. :)

Well done on giving up smoking! :T

    Hey there

Yes, that's £500 off my total so far. Sorry it was a bit of a garbled paragraph!:D

My first payment has gone out today - feels so good (see signitiure). Am hoping once visa bills cleared there will be a little bit extra to pay in. Suprising how niggling away with little bits gets the numbers down. The woman at the bank seemed incredulous when i gave a pounds and pence figure to pay in - stupid woman, its all money and i pay in every single penny i can.

That is fantastic, go us indeed! :j:j

I was thinking about doing a monthly total, what do you guys reckon? At the end of each month tally up what we've paid against what we hope to pay and see how we are getting on?

This is a great idea! Would be really encouraging I think!

    Hey

This might be the wrong place to do this but I've been looking at ISAs to try and maximise what I'm putting away and in the terms and conditions this is included

Since 6 June 2000, new investors opening an Account which entitles them to
Membership have been required to assign any future windfall benefits they are
entitled to, to the Charities Aid Foundation (a charity).

What is a future windfall benefit? MSE recommend this ISA but I don't fully understand this bit. can anyone help?
