    Hey

Sorry just returned from the wilderness yesterday so first post since registering. Since the 1st jan have paid £200 off CC, £100 towards loan and £200 into savings. Have also given up smoking (2 weeks now) and make my lunches for work so as long as I keep it up that's another £1500 towards debts. Am just going to put £30 into my savings every week and then use it to pay things off every 3 months.

good luck and well done everybody!

    ^^^^^cleared a little just by calculating properly^^^^^ :j
this week so far i've managed to bite off my first little chunk... £257.69/£5948.20 :j. i was hoping to pay off a little bit more but had some "not budgeted for" expenses to pay . hoping to pay another £75 off before weekend, fingers crossed. I want to pay one, two at a push, of my smaller debts off completely by the end of january. by paying off the one debt, i'll be saving myself £50 which will help pay off another debt. from next week, at the end of each day, i'm going to throw all my "loose change" from my bank account at my tesco cc - every little helps :p

Just did a quick add up and do you know, if we all manage to pay off what we've pledged we will have knocked nearly £1 million off our collective debt. How stunning is that?

That is fantastic, go us indeed! :j:j

I was thinking about doing a monthly total, what do you guys reckon? At the end of each month tally up what we've paid against what we hope to pay and see how we are getting on?

Hi KLee, welcome back! Hope you had a good time away.

Is that £500 off your total so far I should add? Let me know if it is wrong. :)

Well done on giving up smoking! :T
