pad 8.00...........happy friday all!!
now owe 17028/31943 and paid 14915/7800............my ability to overpay may have to change unfortunately as i have broken my wrist, may need an op and will, therefore, not be working for some time or doing overtime.........i will keep going with the overpayments as long as i can tho!!
Sorry to hear about your wrist jacci, hope it heals well for you.Hello All,
I have made an overpayment of £107.90 so my total is £3643.04/£6000
I don't seem to up date as often now as I 'only' have 3 debts I am paying off rather than the 6 I started with.
What a difference a year makes and what a difference this challenge made.
Thanks all of you and especially jwil for starting it.
One more overpayment due for me for 2011 and then onwards and downwards with you all on 2012's challenge.
Well done o2bfree!donna_dynamo wrote: »Hi last update of the year 2416.12 paid off. Looking at the total makes me soooo happy and represents some hard work over the year but a great sense of acheivement. This challenge has really helped me stay focused about what needs to be done to clear my debts and i am going off to join some 2012 challenges. Thanks:T:T

My loan has come out, and I think that's probably me for the year, so my total for the year is £10,474. I'm pleased with that, but think I am going to have to find another £26 to make it £10,500.
My spendy last few months have meant more added to the cards, but hopefully that's all out of the way now and I can start battering them down on the next challenge.
Thank you to everyone who's taken part this year, I would never have done this much without you all :j :kisses3::beer:
I am obviously still going to be around for the rest of the month for totalising.:D"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well done everyone. I am just waiting for the last interest to be added to my last credit card and then I will report back for my final total for the year. This thread has definitely motivated me to actually DO something about my debt. I started the year with 4 credit cards and ending it with 1 but with a nil balance - that is such a good feeling.
I also managed to pay off my overdraft and pay cash for my insurances etc along the way so although I wont reach my target I am happy with what I have done. Most importantly I feel that I have some control and perspective over my debt now which I certainly didnt have this time last year.
Big thanks to Jwil for running the thread and thanks to all the posters who have encouraged and motivated along the way :T0 -
Hi All
Apologies, I've not been on for ages and haven't updated my total. I pay in the region of £535 each month to debts, but I haven't kept a good eye on the payments recently as the new baby and hous emove have distracted me. I expect this will be my final statement for this year but I will be back in 2012 to start a smaller and more realistic total - that is, of course presuming that this thread will continue next year.
Merry christmas to all of you. xA vision without a plan is just a dream.0 -

Good to see you again Birdseed, we have another thread running now for 2012, it would be great to see you over there. I'll find the link and repost it."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
