That's a good point, quite a few people have reached their targets now, but there are a lot of people who haven't updated at all for a while, so hopefully they'll pop back before the end of the year.
Hi Jwil and everyone else who is doing so well on here. :T
I haven't just had a bad month, I've had a bad year. So at the moment, I have actually increased my debt since the start of the year.:o:o
However, I am now back on track and by the end of the year I will have paid off something more, though not the £10000 I had optimistically aimed for. Leave my current total on there though, it gives me an incentive and I will increase that total-paid-off by the end of 2011.
I promise I will do better in 2012 and a big well done to everyone who is doing so brilliantly paying off their debts. You're an inspiration. :beer:0 -
Just a quick update before housework - bleurgh!
LAM - big hugs to you, i am so very sorry to hear you sad news, take care of yourself x
Wow - to all those who paid off a huge amount - and also those who've paid off a bit
peaceandfreedom - i think we've all had things happen where our debts have increasedbut then we just re-focus so its not just you in this position. I too will be here in 2012. Today will be the joys of e-bay - after housework and hairdresser. Have sold a couple of bits i listed so it does give me a bit of an oomph!
My total - majority overpayments are from taking out my short-term savings and overtime - never again after the amount of hours i did and tyhe paltry amount this then equated to after tax  Oh, i probably didn't put it on here i had a huge bill to pay off - several thousand pounds - i had the majority of it but struggled with the final £2000 but then got a letter saying it had to be paid and got it done within the week :eek::eek: Raised money by maxing out the overdraft, using overtime money that had been intended towards a different bill and withdrawing short term savings

HI jwil and everyone else,
I have not updated this month yet as my figure has not changed. Its been a bad one for me - I lost my young horse last Friday
which incurred some vet bills, my tenant has not paid the full rent due to problems and has promised they are sorting it and I have felt to low to even be bothered to do my usual scraping and selling and surveys.
Will bounce back soon though.
Well done to those that have managed a good month, they are always a good feeling :T
Aww that's awful, sorry to hear that. Hope things get better soon Lam"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

There's a few of us on here who have wandered off the beaten track and then hopped back on so you're not alone peaceandfreedom"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
