Happy 2011 all, here's to clearing all, or reducing, our debts in 2011
I'm sorry to be a pain Jwil, but can I up my target to £5711.76. Decided I will include my bank loan payments in this challenge. I feel a bit of a cheat as it's a fixed monthly direct debit rather than one I am working extra at like I am my credit card, but everyone else seems to have included theirs so why not! Thank you.£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

I'm the same, parsniphead - I just have one repayment now, which has penalties for overpayment; mind you, most of my target is actually pension payments, but they won't start up till maybe April ... laying the groundwork *is* frustrating, no doubt about it.Happy 2011 all, here's to clearing all, or reducing, our debts in 2011

Definitely - I certainly am, its money I'm repaying, that I've earned, so why not :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I don't get paid until the 24th so my total won't come down until then unless I manage to sell some stuff on ebay, also my car needs work and OH's car has broken down and he doesn't have the funds to fix it so it will be going on my card so my total is going to go up dramatically before it goes down, not a great start to the yearAiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0

Happy new year everyone.
I've just been reading all of the posts and am gutted that I can't pay anything until the 15th. Is it sad that i'm chomping at the bit to pay a bill??
I have a few pounds in my change bucket so might put it to good use on Tuesday just so I can update my total on here. Thinking also of paying off a credit account with a credit card to make use of the early settlement reduction, which will be less than the interest on the credit card. Although the credit limit on card doesn't increase till end of January. If i do this then I will need to amend the amount I want to pay off as hopefully it should be less.
BTW I've worked out what I owe just on the balances outstanding, not including any interest charges as some of them have interest already added, so if I pay them off early they should reduce. Hope that's right and makes sense?

Morning all
Another 2.00 off debts today so my running total is now:
32/10,000
I get paid on 14th so i will be making small amounts until then. I am counting regular payments too as they all count towards your debt. Every penny paid is less interest for your creditors:DPayment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0
