We just booked a holiday too. A week in Chicago from 27th August, 2 days after my debt free date! It will be my first holiday since 2008 and first holiday with OH (despite being together nearly 3yrs!) so I'm super duper excited!! OH has been promising me a holiday since my LBM as a reward. Yay!

Phones, I have a Sony arc now but my blackberry was bombproof.

Wow, what a fantastic reward for getting DF, and great motivation to ensure it's cleared too!

I'm being quite wary though as it's usually at this point that we get some major unexpected expense that puts us a few grand further in debt (car dies, something falls off the house, you know).

Yup, know exactly what you mean

Sorry, I have no idea :o I've got a standard mobile. I'm reading avidly though because I'd love a smartphone!

    Hi everyone

I'm sorry but I've not been on here since about May so have not been able to update since. I paid the usual £565 towards my debts in June, so I will add this to my signature.
My payment dates have been a bit scuppered as husband got a new job with a different pay day, so I have paid standing orders but not direct debits so far in July. By the end of the month though the usual £565 (plus any extras) will have gone out, but I will update July's at the end of the month.

Hope you're all well. The debt busting on this forum continues to be impressive, let's keep up the good work.

  • Hi All
Well done on all the OPs. I am on holiday at the moment and have allocated a budget for our spending money but we seem to be going through it very fast!

Today it is raining and most places are cloed due to it being Sunday so i plan to just relax with my book and have a NSD.
