Hi Sarahs999
Yes I have included mortgage debt and payments in my payment and targets. I dont include any of the interest payments - just the amount of capital reduction on the credit cards, loans and mortgage. We started the mortgage (125k) three years ago and therefore are paying well over what we need to pay.
To me a mortgage is still a debt in the same way that any other loan is - so I have included it in this challenge - hope I have not done something wrong!
My Lifegod no, nothing wrong. I'm just envious of you being in a position to do something about it! I would't include mine as it's around £140k and it would be far too depressing!
I haven't included my mortgage either, though I list it in my sig as a debt. We're not overpaying it at the moment, so it's just reducing as normal. I have it in my sig because I can then pretend that my debt isn't as ridiculous as it is, the 'total' debt of mine plus mortgage is a normal mortgage amount for some people
It's still a debt though, so there's nothing wrong with it being included!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I think I would cry if I included our mortgage!

£700 overpayment. Called Tesco and they made a mistake most likely with my last payment, it went out but hasn't been seen on my account just yet so this needs to be sorted. I don't include mortgage payments, mainly because I don't have one.

Whoo hoo - congrats. Goal reached.
I dont include mortgage either and I only have half my loan. I added my credit cards and loan and then halved it and that is my goal for this challenge. It was far too depressing looking at it all and the loan wont increase so my goal was to get rid of the credit cards first and then I will chuck all spare cash into the loan. But that is next years challenge
