I need to join this. I used my (zero balance) credit card to pay for some furniture to qualify for a special offer but cash flow has gone wrong, it has now gone interest charging and I must pay it off. It is £407 and I will be on the slippery slope if I don't focus. Did think about balance transferring to my current acct holder so I see it when I log on each day but that has 3% balance transfer fee.

  • Out of December's pay I've paid £490 today

    so - £490/£6,000 which is 8% paid.

I might be able to make a few more tiny payments before my next payday

  • I would love to join this thread. My NY resolution is to sort out my debt this year. Last year I re-financed a lot so feel a lot more in control, but this year I want to make a difference.

Having just added it up I want to pay off £12,000 this year. Feels a little hard to do but I need to focus!
