    Anybody have experience of or knowledge of gel filled radiators with tungsten heating elements.
    I live in an all electric flat with storage heaters which are on their last legs read about gel rads whilst price checking replacement heaters any advice greatly appreciated

    Yes indeed, they are amazingly efficient at converting electrical energy into heat, 100% in fact.

    However every other electric heater on the market is 100% efficient as well.

    I'd suggest you investigate modern storage heaters that run on cheap rate electricity, have a look at Creda.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.
