Is there any link between LLoyds & RBS

Hi
for various reasons I need to make sure there is no link between RBS & lloyds.
I am about to sign up for an account with lloyds and the T&C's state they share information with other members of their group. I just need confirmation that Lloyds and RBS are not connected so will not share information.

They are not connected. The main Lloyds Banking Group members are Lloyds TSB & Halifax/Bank Of Scotland.Target Save £1k

only connected by way of LTSB motor insurance is currently u/w by an RBS owned company, but that ends this week.0
